Hello, hello!

We are excited about our 35th annual Candlelight Concerts and hope you can join us if you’re in the area! Please note the new location of St. Paul’s Memorial Church. We were unable to secure the UVA Chapel this year, but feel fortunate to be in this location where we can use real candles. Professional harpist, Anastasia Jellison, will once again accompany the Chorus for the centerpiece of the concert: Gustav Holst’s Choral Hymns from the Rig Veda, Op. 26. Tickets for Friday, November 30, at 8 PM may be purchased here; and Saturday, December 1, at 3:30 PM here. For more information, visit the VWC website.

The Managing Board, Appointed Board, and all members of the Chorus continue to work hard to create beautiful music and to foster the community of sisterhood and acceptance, and I am inspired and grateful.

As the Annual Fund Drive is concluding, I want to thank you again for your continued support of this wonderful organization. Because of you, we are able to continue to offer this unique opportunity for students to join in singing and become a part of this warm and supportive community.  We know we stand on the shoulders of you who have given hours of dedication to make the Chorus what it is today!

Yours in Vdubz Harmony,
