Where has life taken you after UVa? After graduation, I moved to Washington DC, where I worked for one of the "big 4" public accounting firms. Almost five years ago, my husband and I moved back to Charlottesville. We absolutely love life back in town- the vineyards, history, and proximity to the University. You name it, Charlottesville has it all. Still, our favorite thing about living in town is hosting and visiting with so many friends when they come back to town to visit!

What is your favorite VWC memory? When I first started at UVa, I had a really hard time adjusting. I was an out-of-state student, and to say I felt a bit lost would be an understatement.  All of the sudden I was a very small fish in a very big pond! I remember wondering how I would ever find my way at the University and second guessing my decision to come to Charlottesville.  That is, until the very first VWC rehearsal. After that rehearsal, I remember thinking that everything was going to be ok after all.

Why are you serving on the AIG? An active alumni group is very important for the longevity of any student organization. We are all only students for a short period of time, but we are alums forever. VWC has so many talented, successful, and creative alums and there is nothing we can't do with our powers combined! VWC was such an important part of my experience at UVa and I want to do what I can to make sure the group continues to flourish for years to come.
