Directed by Dr. Addison Walton, organized by the student-run Managing and Appointed Boards, and performed by the oldest all treble-choir at the University of Virginia, The Virginia Women’s Chorus presents: “A Thousand Different Women: Songs from the Female Perspective”. This concert features a repertoire of all female composers. The theme of this concert encompasses a wide variety of emotional reflections and lived experiences of women. Through pieces like “Lineage” by Andrea Ramsey, “Letter to my 13 Year Old Self” by Laufey, and “Apple Tree” by AURORA this concert will honor the past, appreciate the present, and inspire the future.
